Significant ethical dilemmas have faced Volkswagen’s managers. Among the ethical difficulties encountered is the unethical business approach in the company. The business operations within the company were unrealistic and did not abide by the rules set by the government. Leadership image was the other ethical dilemma faced in the company as the decisions made by the leaders were unethical and did not expose every situation of their cars to the customers (Abutalib, M.,2020). The leaders hid some information from their customers, which created a bad company image. Thirdly, there was a questionable use of technology in Volkswagen where they had installed cheating software to more than 500,000 cars sold to the United States. The technology was intended for making changes that could pass standard measures. The installed software sensed when the vehicles were being tested of harmful emissions, and the cars automatically switched to the driving mode, reducing nitrogen oxide, ensuring cars passed
