The article was a comprehensive study of how different input-output models work. The authors looked to define the IMPLAN, REMI AND RIMS 2 models and examine how they worked. The authors, therefore, sought to define all three models giving examples of their application. The comparison of the three input-output models was an indication that proves which of the three methods offered businesses the best possible input-output ratio. The analysis also wanted to point out the differences between the three methods had. The multipliers of the three methods are of increasing interest in the paper. The main goal from this two criterion was possible measures that could be taken to improve any one of the three methods.[Dan S. Rickman and Keith Schwer, A Comparison of the Multipliers of IMPLAN, REMI and RIMS 2, e-book, 1st ed. (The annals of Regional Science.: 363-374, 1995).]
The authors used the empirical analysis to provide their information. From the beginning of the article, the authors referenced the original companies that came up with the all three models. They then used the evidence that the companies had on how the models worked, the shortcomings and the triumphs of the models. This is the first part as it defined all three models as the original requirement. Throughout the definition of the models, the authors use very detailed explanations. The use of detail allows the reader to understand all the ideas that are being passed on paper. This enables all of the arguments that are being made to be convincing. The use of detailed description is one of the most valuable tools that the authors have used throughout the paper.
The points give an indication of the efficiency of each model. How the multiplies in the IMPLAN model function is different to how those in the REMI or RIMS 2 models. As the authors go deeper into explaining the models, the more efficient input-output models are predisposed. The input-output models can are efficient in different lengths. Different organizations use these models to help in the management of their resources. It is important to note that the prior to the collision, there was evidence that the REMI model have a more diverse use. It, however, implied that the model was only applicable in limited light/ Policy changed affected the efficiency of the model that was in use. The policy implications are among the most important features. All the models have policy implications that may not necessarily have the desired platform.[Dan S. Rickman and Keith Schwer, A Comparison of the Multipliers of IMPLAN, REMI And RIMS 2, ebook, 1st ed. (The annals of Regional Science.: 363-374, 1995).]
