In the 21st century, climate change has become a major issue of concern, especially to the developing and developed nations. This matter has left countries with no option other than integrating and promoting environmental sustainability in their production processes (Esty 48). Goodland states that environmental sustainability as the rate at which renewable resources are harvested, creating pollution as well as indefinite depletion of non-renewable resources (20).
Regarding this, this paper intended to carry out an evaluation of Environmental Component of ESG of BMW Group and CNH Industrial N.V companies using the GRI Index. After evaluating the Environmental Component of the two companies, the following results were attained;
