Religion
Over the ages, people have believed the existence of a supreme being. It may be an option for someone to believe or not which may not be the case for history or economics. This paper intends to consider how the view has changed about religion and how it is a personal subject.
Religion is regarded as a belief in the existence of a supernatural being; it is, therefore, hard for someone to believe in something he has not seen. Seeing is believing. For someone to convince someone of an existence of a supreme being he/she has not seen it becomes unreal and hard for someone to understand too. It is hard to believe that someone created the universe when there exist other scientific theories that show how the universe came to be.
Religious people tend to force others to believe in religion. Those who believe in religion want others to believe in it too. It should not be the case as it needs to be optional whether to believe in it or not and therefore no need to force someone to believe in the existence of any supreme being. Thus religion should be an option to people. If they do not believe in it, then they should not be preached to.
Religion tends to slow the economy. Individuals who believe in religion tend to think that their God might provide for them in the hour of need. It is unrealistic as people need to work hard to provide for themselves. People need to stop thinking that some supreme being will provide for their needs and work towards bettering the economy....
