In this poem the author has utilized figurative language and specifically imagery to express himself. He has utilized the patterns of imagery to reflect the existence of peaceful life and enjoyment where man has not interfered with nature. "I love not man less, but Nature more”. "By the deep Sea, and the music in its roar" in this stanza the author creates an image in the mind of the reader. Moreover, "Roll on thou deep and dark Blue Ocean" the image arises of how the seas rolls and the noises it makes as referred by the author as music. The reader understands the good life nature presents. It leads to development of the theme
I stood in Venice
The imagery used in this poem by the author reflects auditory "the Bridge of sighs" the image it creates makers the reader to hear. In the case, of visual imagery we see it after the explanation offered by the author. "All gems in sparkling showers”, "at airy distance, with majestic motion”. Basically, the imagery of this poem are nature based and they run all over the poems to reflect the theme.
She walks in Beauty
Visual imagery exist in this poem "She walks in Beauty, like …night of cloudless climes and starry skies" in this stanza the reader visualizes in mind. The nature is used to express the thoughts of the author and development of theme. "Waves in every raven tress" in this case, nature has been used to explain the beautiful tress of the lady.

Lord Byron 1788-1824
His father was Captain John Byron and his mother Catherine Gordon. He was raised by his mother as a widower leading to raise him with atmosphere of tenderness, insensitivity, pride and fierce temper due to being emotionally unstable.
