My Involvement in NSCS Community
I joined the National Society of Collegiate Scholars a few years back. It is through NSCS that I have been able to learn a lot of things that I did not know when I joined the college as a freshman. The NSCS gave been a catalyst to my improvement in academic development. It had access to many resources that I used in improving my academic development. As a result, I was able to improve my GPA.
I also had a good experience with my involvement in the community activities that are organized by NSCS. I had a chance of being the organizer of most of the NSCS community and extracurricular activities. It gave me the opportunity to interact with various people from different backgrounds whom I did not even imagine of meeting in my life. I have learned that leadership is all about understanding the people that you lead and offering service to them.
Through my involvement in the community service activities, I was able to learn the various difficulties that are found in the community and how we can identify solutions to the problems. Creating good bonds with your friends for a long time is one of the most important aspects that I have also learned. In the end, you never know the exact place that you will meet these people. They will be helping you at one time when you will be in difficulty.
NSCS has changed my life in various ways. It has opened for me numerous opportunities that I did not know that they previously existed. It has challenged me to make sure that I give back to the community through involvement in voluntary activities. I have learned that every opportunity that comes your way, you should be able to take it up.
