Ludwig Mies van der Rohe
Ludwig Mies van der Rohe is one of the leading architects of Germany and the United States, creator of the international style of architecture of XX century. Mies was born in Aachen in the family of the master mason. Ludwig studied at the local trade school, working as the plaster carver.
The architect has acquired considerable experience and mastered the universal design approach, making supervision of construction of the German Embassy in St. Petersburg.
