Paris Agreement and the Adopt Resolution Agreement
Agreements provide solutions to most of the issues faced in the current society. The resolution on the floor offers various instructions on the measures towards making concessions. Among multiple agreements adopted by the global community, the Paris Agreement delivers for guidelines aimed at ensuring that climate change mitigations and adaptation are adhered to by numerous countries. Further, Paris Climate Agreement proposed to curb climate change through different strategies that provide for efficient response towards the immediate requirement of reaction towards the threat of climate change. An in-class agreement reached provided, Adopt Resolution towards the same initiative of climate change but contains different conditions. These two agreements are almost similar but contain information that is favorable to other countries while unfavorable to others. They are included in the analysis to provide a detailed look at their strengths and need for more clarifications for adoption. The Paris Climate agreement appears to have placed more obligations towards a global initiative to some countries than others have. However, the Adopt Resolution attempts to bring in different aspects of resolutions approved in the past into a single decision to ensure a comprehensive approach towards mitigation and adaptation strategies to global change. Therefore, the focus will be on the paradigm shift brought about by the in-class agreement, and their transformative aspect with detailed illustrations.
