Cold war occurred bettween1945 and 1989 as a result of the conflict of USSR with the west. This conflict was mainly because the existence of nuclear weapon made hot war mad due to the existence of mutually assured destruction.
The picture demonstrates two men trying to outdo each other to prove their strength. The image symbolizes the cold war, with the two men sitting on missiles and trigger placed at the proving end on the table. Each side is trying to undermine and destroy each other; however they do not let go to actual fight since it could kill them if the conflict is not avoidable.
Post war in America
The end of the cold war marked a significant breathtaking on social, economic and cultural change took place in America (Griffin et al. 208). The Congress made several step solve the urban problems in the late sixties through the provision of substantial financial support; to improve infrastructure housing and electrification.
The picture demonstrates the postmodern housing in America. There are much far better. The timber fence portrays an occurrence of livestock farming. The resemblance of the houses which are built jointly shows the socialization of the neighborhood. The well-developed house and the paths depict an upgrade in the economy.
Post-War Politics
Truman and Eisenhower Administrations' Containment Policy had a different perspective in economic priority. The administration pursued military strategies ensure that there was enough security. Also, Truman administration was alarmed with Soviet expansion into clear strategies of areas in the world because he knew that only brute force could stop the Soviet. Their administration was too subjective to influence on their suppression strategies. The politics mainly focused on homeland security, civil rights, immigration, health care and trade, and it does so within a broad theoretical and historical context (Jeffery et al. 204).
The picture symbolizes a group of Black American in one of the government offices. They are enquiring for their civil rights and discrimination torture that affects them.
