From a wide vantage view, this essay critically examines own contributions towards the development of health care organizational policy.
Firstly, one has a role of working in partnership with your colleagues so as to deliver high quality and safe healthcare and support services. One should have the ability to work in a team and show understanding and value of others contribution to the team. Also, one should honor their commitments and act in dependable and trustworthy manner (McSherry, 14). Secondly, one should put effort to communicate effectively with the people who use the health and social care services. Communication should be respectful and accurate. Confidential information should be well safeguarded except where the duty of care justifies disclosure. Clear and accurate records of the health care and social support services provided should also be maintained.
Moreover, one has a role to uphold and promote equality and diversity of the users of the health and social services, including one's workmates. No discrimination should be shown against people using health and social care services. Respect for diversity among users of these services should prevail. Impartiality, fairness, and unbiased should persist in the workplace.
One, in addition, has a responsibility to act in the best interest of the users of healthcare and social services. The needs, visions and goals of the folks who seek health and social care services should be prioritized.
