It is the dream of every student seated here to live a better life and that is the main reason why your parents have put much effort to ensure that you acquire the best education. Similarly, I hope you are playing your role of ensuring that you fully utilize your potential in order to achieve good grades. In addition, we all agree with the saying that goes work without play makes Jack a dull boy and therefore hope that you create time to explore your talents through extra curriculum activities such as sports. The fact that you are about to graduate from high school, I tend to believe that many of you are have myriad of questions on which university to attend and it is for this reason I seek to let you know more about the University of Tennessee Martin. After this session, I hope you will know the advantages of obtaining a degree from this particular institution and thus make an informed choice.
The University of Tennessee Martin was founded in the 1900, where it was stated as a college. In the year 1927 the college was upgraded to a public university. Ever since, the university has produced many graduates who have played major role in the success of the global economy and some of the graduates hold leadership positions in various occupation fields. For Example, Van Jones who is a notable political activist was an Alumnus of the University of Tennessee Martin, a reputable American football player who plays for the New York Giants also graduated from this university. Thus the graduates are adequately prepared to solve challenges in the world.
The second advantage of enrolling for a degree in this university is that the institution has modern facilities that are technologically advanced for instance the Technology Centre. The university also offers the online programs that are much convenient to both the undergraduates and the graduates. The university has been accredited for offering high quality degree programs that are tailored towards personal career development.
Thirdly, the university offers an environment where students can engage in other activities apart from the classroom work. There exist academic clubs and societies where student can members. Similarly, students are allowed to form associations and government as well as the service groups. The management has permitted the existence of recreational facilities in the campus and thus student freedom is guaranteed.
