Our academic success is not entirely based on the amount of effort and time dedicated to learning but is also subject to the nature of the learning environment within and around us. The past year at my current university has been a moment of transition both socially and academically. I have been focusing on my studies and seeking guidance from professionals in the field of my choice. This experience has helped me become more confident in myself and my abilities in school and in social situations. After different engagements in pursuit of a better personal career choice, my passion for astronomy has stood firm. Eventually, I came to the conclusion that my current university does not provide the additional opportunities I need to develop into the person I want to be. My ideal school would include a diverse student body and teachers who genuinely care about each individual's development. I do not feel the challenge in my field of study at my current institution.
