The revolution was highly propelled by the shooting of American protesters in the Boston Massacre. After a series of unrest in the region, the killers were arrested and arraigned in court to answer to charges of murder but were all released on the following day. Their release highly encouraged the revolution since the locals could not access justice against the colonialists hence they opted to fight for their rights. The dissolving of the house obstructed the administration of justice for the locals and created avenues for oppression by the colonialists. Also, the performing judges acted on the will of the king; hence, it was difficult for the Americans to acquire justice as it was based on their originality thus the colonialists were favored against the Americans.
