Tutenkhamen’s Tomb
Tutankhamen's followers considered him as a man and a god in equal measure. His death in 1323 BC marked the end of an era in Egypt's history as an imperial state. The circumstances of Tutankhamen's death are still unknown. The reason he was buried in a tomb that was extremely tiny and overfilled is also a mystery. Despite this, Howard Carter's discovery of the pharaoh's tomb after nearly 3,000 years of obscurity made him the most well-known Egyptian figure to the general public today. Howard Carter found the glistening treasures of Tutankhamen's tomb, which had been undiscovered for thousands of years.
Some of the things found in Tutenkhamen’s tomb were his golden burial mask, which has become a symbol of Egyptian archeology.
