Andrew Jackson is on the face of the $20 bill note, yet his decisions adversely affected the lives of many native Americans. He signed about seventy removal treaties into law that forced Native Americans to trade their land to get restricted reservations in the west. These laws and many other actions by Andrew Jackson adversely affected Native Americans, painting a picture of a failed leader (Thompson 428). The wrongful decisions depict that Jackson has no value in being used as a face for the American notes. The national bank was crucial as it provided financial security to the nation; hence, its abolition was a depiction of the bad decisions by Jackson (Manfra, 29). He believed that the national system contributed to economic inequality between social groups. These bad decisions are enough reason to consider removing Andrew Jackson from the $20 bill notes in the United States. Another reason Jackson should be removed from the $20 bill notes is that the minority groups suffered severe mistreatment under his administration. Jackson's initial perception of the globe was not favorable.
