Introduction
WWI started in 1914 1nd was triggered by the assassination of Francis Ferdinand of Austria. Militarism, nationalism and imperialism and alliance system was used. WWII arose due to economic and political instability of the German when Adolf Hitler came into power and formed his alliance with Japan and Italy.
World War I took a period of four years between the years 1914 to 1918. World War I was also referred to as the Great War and was divided into two groups of powers, the Central powers and the Allied powers. The Germans, Turkey, Austria and Bulgaria formed the central powers while Italy, Russia, France and Japan constituted the Allied powers in which USA joined later in 1917. World War II also referred to as The Great Patriotic War took a period six years between the years 1939 to 1945. In World War II the opposing groups are currently known as the ‘The Axis’ and the other group is referred to as ‘The Allies’.
