HOPE
To Hope, according to Merriam Webster dictionary, is “to cherish a desire with anticipation: to want something to be happened or to be true”. In this essay, whenever you read the word “hope”, try to translate it as an inner attitude without expectations, a mind set that a man can use it whenever he gets overwhelmed by life’s struggles, try not to mix it with false wishes that is illogical and naive. Many argue about either hope is something that is reliable in a man life or a man can live without it and still reach his destination. I think the point is not about the destination itself as a final result, but rather how the journey to that destination would be like. Another argument is that many think that if they hope, they would not be able to face the disappointments. The fear of disappointments is their excuse against hope. Hope is also a more profound idea than optimism, as optimism mainly is a belief of a desirable result, but as i stated, hope does not deals with results, it relies between the input and the output, it is independent of both. I also think that hope is a tool that man can use to avoid despair and live a lightful life.
