Introduction
International relations resonate around political influence, power, and the balance of the two entities at a global stance. Although power and politics are the main factors under international relations, it is confined since it also handles subjects related to culture and organizations. Over the years, the Middle East has been a war zone with many western and Asian countries at the frontline to balance power and restore peace in these countries 3. However, the process has not been easy since a different group of people sees the involved parties as opportunists. The escalation of the war in Middle East countries has a great impact globally, and the USA has embarked on negotiating peace in these countries for more than a decade. Arguably the discomfort of the Middle East has been contributed by poor integration of international relations. This paper will focus on the USA, European and Asian countries, their role in resolving the war in the Middle East, its implications, and its success.
The Iranian revolution to have nuclear weapons has been in existence for the longest time. However, most countries do not feel comfortable allowing the unstable country to possess mass destructive weapons. Europe and America are two continents that invested a lot of resources on ensuring the country is peaceful before they possess nuclear weapons. Under the administration of Obama in 2010, the USA imposed high tariffs on Iran to bar them from establishing the nuclear plant. The central conflict in the Middle East countries is peace, government, and financial stability. Notably, these countries contribute a large percentage of the total oil consumed in the globe. It is the primary reason why international leadership is always focused on ensuring peace in the countries. The root cause of conflict in the Middle East is revolutions and terror groups that seek the countries involved in restoring peace to leave their territories 2.
As the tension continued to escalate since 2010, Iran has come to a conclusion that would implicate international relations. The deal Iranian deal is always on the verge of collapsing; for example, the former president of the USA, Donald Trump, dodged the deal and rather imposed high tariffs on the country. Due to Iranian economic status, the country had to comply and keep the deal on hold to avoid inflation and the plummeting of currency. The conflict between and peace and prosperity is brought into question at this point. The Iranian revolution makes the entire region unstable and grooms terror groups. It is the obligation of international relations to give a hand in the process of restoring peace in the Middle East. As the talks between Europe, America, and other Asian countries, Iran is close to owning a nuclear bomb 2. They have insisted on the USA to remove tariffs imposed by President Trump, and it is the objective of USA foreign policy to ensure the two countries do not escalate to war. The sitting president in the USA, Joe Biden, is pushing the limits to ensure Iran meets the consensus agreed in 2015. The game is still in play, and most countries are yet to see what will be unveiled? Will America’s foreign policy bring to end the tension in the Middle East? What will be the cost of allowing Iran to have nuclear weapons? These are questions that are yet to be answered.
Imperialism is another factor that has contributed to war and tension in the Middle East. Imperialism can be described as the state of advocacy and the acquisition to control other territories 1. The central theme under imperialism is to have a balance of power in a particular territory. The war between Palestine and Israel and Gaza is another aspect of imperialism where every country is fighting to own particular territory. For instance, in 2014, Israel launched a fight against Palestinian, which left many people dead and numerous casualties. However, Israel denied that the war was motivated by politics, but the truth is known. The war between these two countries is due to imperialism; it has led to discomfort in Israel and other countries in the Middle East 3. The conflict between Turkey and the Kurds has existed for years, and countries such as France have provided a solution that would see the end of the war in the regions. International communities have played an integral role in finding solutions in the Middle East. For instance, the boundaries in the Middle East were established by the European countries to ensure communities and cultures are preserved. Foreign policies are meant to enhance economic stability and reinstate peace where there is war. The process is always faced with varied challenges. Firstly, some nations may or may not agree with policies imposed by one country. for example, the Kurdish-Turkey was supported by two countries, Russia was involved, and the USA allied with Kurds to ensure the war has come to an end 1.
