Apple iPhone 6 Vs Samsung Galaxy S5
The Samsung Galaxy S5 and the iPhone 6 are two of the best smartphones most people look for in the market. Comparatively, everyone agrees both phones have sharp cameras, slim design, fingerprint scanners, big screens and millions of pixels. Undoubtedly, these two phones that divide opinion share more in common (from both sides) than fan-boys may lead one to believe. That said obvious differences about the design, performance and features of the Samsung Galaxy S5 and iPhone 6 exist. Surely, the two phones are never the same and have distinct differences that make them divide people's opinion based on the categories of comparison.
Looking at the dimensions, the iPhone 6 is much bigger but still pretty slender and lighter than the Samsung S5.Admittedly is, the Samsung S5 is made of a larger screen than the iPhone 6.however, and the Samsung S5’s screen is a bit thicker and heavier. Noticing that the iPhone is made of metal while the S5 is made from plastic, then the iPhone 6 sucks because it is still lighter. In the hand, there two phones feel more or less the same, a situation that strikes a balance in terms of the physical size and screen size of between the two phones.
In regard of compliance to the IP67 standard, Samsung S5 is leading ahead of the iPhone 6. Simply, this means that the S5 resists water as long as the water depth does not exceed 1m and the phone is submerged for a period of not more than thirty minutes. As if going to swim with the S5 is not enough, dropping the phone in a glass of water and realizing it is just fine makes it a prettier option compared to the iPhone 6. Moreover, the S5 is resistant dust, which can spoil the iPhone 6.
Furthermore, the two phones are set aside in terms of the processor. For the iPhone 6, it uses the 64-bit A8- one of the apples' brand-new processors. Noticeably, this duo-core part can run at1.4 GHz, which is lesser. However, the combination of the duo-core with the iOS 8 makes it quick, thus impressive. Performance of graphics on the iPhone is equally good. On the other hand, S5 uses the 2.5GhZ quad-core Qualcomm snapdragon 801CPU.However, this processor is not 64 bit, thus is not in a position to utilize the Android L 64bit OS. From the comparison of the processing speed, the two phones have a similar performance notwithstanding the fact the Apples’ OS and CPU is more efficient.
