A boss is a leader who should possess qualities that foster appropriate management of the enterprise as well as the human resources. Therefore, supervisors have a calling to be exemplary, possess excellent leadership skills, and promote fair or equal treatment to all employees.
Exemplary and Excellent Leadership Skills
In any organization, a good director is supposed to lead by example. They should conduct themselves in a professional manner, especially among customers and their fellow employees. As a result, one is expected to be punctual, smart and a good listener to all members of the company. Therefore, they expect the same behaviors from their employee to encourage performance; hence, creating a healthy working atmosphere. Secondly, a good boss should possess excellent leadership and management qualities. He should know how to extract and utilize the competence of his subordinates; hence, understand their strengths and weaknesses to accrue better performance. Therefore, it is the responsibility of ever boss to accord each person time to air their grievances, which, in turn, spurs the development of a better working environment.
