1 Short-Term Impact
In the short-term, a decent amount of finances gets to be channeled into the new project because the operations will have changed. Precisely, the decision-making process must follow the organization's ability to distribute resources according to urgency comprehensively. Since the purchase of the new van has a solid backing, there are different ways of ensuring that every team member backs it through a consensus. Besides, on the financial planning bit of the hospital, expenses will increase for the first year considering the need to help patients that come to access services offered. Also, with assets like office and medical supplies will enable the business to provide the best services to women, especially those with unborn children communicating through a comprehensive formal way while accommodating changes as they arise. Therefore, the decision-making process, especially for financial planning, should come from an analytical point of view in the industry since it impacts the overall performance of all operations.
2 Long-Term Impact
In the long-term, the hospital will need more staffing. By that only, operational expenses will have increased because of the additional personnel and strategic positioning to implement services in the hospital. It follows that with the need to provide "high quality, comprehensive care to families and individuals who might otherwise go without the care they need." (Venice Family Clinic website, 2020).
Additionally, the volunteering of time will have a significant impact on the overall performance in the facility because of access of more patients to the services provided. Besides, the financial planning process will experience a sharp increase in expenses because of the additional expansion to offer the best quality services to the patients. Further, the business system may change because of the expanding services provided to patients in the community and since training is required for every staff member, readying the materials and trainers will be essential to keep every operational cycle continuous.
