This report is based on the discrimination based on case or descent. The phenomena of caste based discrimination is considerably new and in the International law have recognised the caste based discrimination in the late 90s. However, the problem which has been discussed in this report have occurred due to the failure of CERD to defined caste based discrimination and explanation of it for further implementation in signatory states. However, it has been find in the report that caste based discrimination is not a religious phenomenon but more racial based phenomena. Therefore, it must be put into the protected category of race in the Equality Act 2010.
