x = [ -1  QUOTE   ]/ 2
x = (-1  QUOTE  7) / 2
Therefore x = 3, x = -4

22x-4 = 64
Solution
The question is solved by finding logs on both sides (natural log)
Ln (22x-4) = Ln 64
But Ln x2 = 2 Ln x
Therefore,
(2x – 4) . Ln (2) = Ln 64
