Abstract
In “Shampoo” film production, the cinematographer employs techniques that set the film making elements into work; there is a convention in most parts of the film, which gives the viewer the basic geographical orientation while putting the themes in their preferred context. The videographer employs film technique that offers an exceptional window overlay to aid the memory of the viewer. These effects effectively help in transporting the viewer back to the time, hence allowing one to see and even experience the nature of the society depicted. Moreover, the film employs effective use of shades and colors that makes it unique in a way; both color and shades help in achieving transition, thereby giving the film the essence of harmony. Lightning directs attention to the preferred item in a film. For example, soft, indefinite lighting in the shampoo convey romance – the overriding element in the film. On the other hand, a strong lighting in most parts of the film suggests a feeling of realism. Several parts of the film are bedecked with abrupt lighting changes that effectively denote a startling progress in the plot.
