Needs assessment
The human resource carried out a training needs analysis and found out that there are two skill that need to the improved by the companies employees computer and technical skills and management and leadership skills. The human resource staff carried out interviews of both junior and senior employees to determine what skill they felt should be improved (Barbazette, 2006). From the analysis of the data collected more than seventy percent of the staff thought it necessary to carry out a computer and technical skills training, management and leadership skills was second with a fifty nine percent vote.
The training will be carried out using the traditional approach of training. This approach will involve a teaching technique, assignments, tests and practical evaluation.
Objective of the training
The objective of the training is to impact skills on the trainees that will contribute to the attainment of the organizational goals (Robin, 1999). According to the data collected during the Need for Training Analysis most employees believe that they do not possess the necessary technical and computer skills for their specific job. Computer and technical training is crucial if the employees are to become efficient and competent in their work. It is necessary to equip the staff with new skills as new technology emerges. This motivates the staff and increasing their productivity (Miner & Miner, 2013).
The object of the management and leadership skills training is to develop these skills on all staff members because they will need to practice effective and efficient leadership at one point of their employment. It enables the trainees be able to take charge of a team when called upon to lead in any capacity. The training will involve the fundamentals of leadership and management. The purpose is to have responsible all rounded staff.

Training method
Computer based training will be used for both computer and technical skills, and management and leadership training. The trainees will able to access the training software program on any computer within the organization and at any time. Hard copy training kits will be issued on request
There will be one- on -one coaching by an experienced professional for two days, one month from when the computer based training is launched. Coaching will enable the trainees gain further skills from a knowledgeable expert of the field, who will be one of the staff members (Pike, 2003). The advantage of this training method is that it allows specific questions that may have arisen during the computer aided training to be addressed in depth (Scannell & Donaldson, 2000).
