That Deadman Dance story takes readers to the land of the Noongar people and exposes them to their culture and traditions. It reveals how the community lived in peace and harmony and how everything was in the good flow until the European ships started arriving. Bobby, a kind, smart, resourceful, and very optimistic man, was delighted to welcome them to their home. He introduced them to some of their ways of life and made efforts for them to relate with his people. Bobby believed that all this would work out for the best, but not everyone was delighted with the progress that the white colonists were making.
