Is Samsung Organization Too Big To Fail?
Too big to fail phrase is in most cases used in financial institutions. If the big organizations like Samsung were to fail, then the general economy becomes disastrous. A Samsung company operates in a wider economy, but the failures associated to it may not have the same effects compared to the financial institutions (Chakrabarty and Madhavi15). If big organizations like the Samsung were to disappear, there would be re-shuffling and surprised looks on the market and sudden rise of competitors. Also, we can look at it from another dimension. Is there any company that generates so much profit for it to fail? The answer is no. Of course, legendary companies like the Samsung would make it incredible that one day they will no longer exist in the technological innovations (Victoria and A. M 17).
The innovations of Samsung have given the organization unimpeachable grip that makes it seem impossible to fail (Prato and Jean 25). This is a new era, though in some years back some darling companies of the age had enviable structures and positions, but eventually collapsed; every institution is therefore fallible. Unless its failure is a threat to the economy; no government will step in to salvage the situation.
An enormous number of companies rely on Samsung (Guirado et al 8). If Samsung was to shut down its services immediately, the ripple impact would be tremendous, and the hit would be felt. It is not easy to fill the shoes of these organizations overnight. If these big companies are deemed to fail, the government would bail them out for personal gains and economic securities of the nation (Villalba et al. 6).
Conclusively, just as in the case of any other business can fail, other industries like the Samsung are bound to fail. For example, Nokia, which was the biggest player in phone manufacturing sector, has lost huge clients to market competitors, such as Apple and the Samsung. If any organization or business is not up-to-date with the market, it will probably fail completely or fall behind.
