1. Do you feel like you are a change agent or a change manager? Explain and justify your rationale.
2. If you stated that you are a change manager, how can you further develop into a change leader? If you believe that you are a change leader, what developmental stage do you believe that you are in?
3. As noted, in your textbook, there are four types of change leaders. Based upon your knowledge, skills, and abilities, what types of change leaders do you view yourself to be? How does this type of change leader align or differ from the type of change leader your organization would hire? Explain.

Effective Change Agent
It is often too challenging, for some people to determine where and how they fit into the change process. A significant number of individuals do not think that they can kindle change using their low, mid-level roles, titles, and minimal experience. In these challenging times, individuals find themselves working in organizations that challenge them to take one of the roles of change agency, initiator, implementer, facilitator, or task force team member, in other words, individuals can either be change leaders or change agents(Deszca, et al, 2020, p. 510). Being a change leader or change manager stems from the internal urge to stretch boundaries and make a difference.
Change leaders operate from a visionary and adjustable perspective while managers are more hands-on and operate with people (Deszca, Ingols, & Cawsey, 2020). While leaders are visionary, have virtue, learn from others, and are open-minded to new ideas, managers empower others, build teams, address resistance and conflicts, and solve difficulties.
