The economic potential of a country lies on the human capital which is what people want to do and what they can do. A multicultural nation competes better in the global economy compared to an economy with just a single culture. This is the reason for the countries which have experienced immigrations in the past having an overall better national potential (Guo, 2009). Immigration makes a competitive advantage in that the ageing population is replaced with people seeking employment lowering the cost of production. In other cases, individuals coming from multicultural society tend to understand other people from different cultural backgrounds better (Guo, 2009). Examples of countries which have benefited from cross culture include Canada and United States. Canadians view immigration positively and this positive social attitudes increases the country’s competitive advantage. Cross-culture societies use different languages from local to international languages. For example, countries colonized by British use English for communication and this makes it easy to communicate.

However, it is not allowed in other countries around the world. I would fail to pass laws allowing practices of such a culture. I would encourage other cultures that are favorable such as getting western education. I would ensure that there are appropriate resources needed for learning in such a case (Obeng & Hartford, 2008). I would also encourage private companies which look forward to building te...
