Women are mostly viewed as weaker beings on most occasions, not generally masculine in terms of physic. Mainly drawn under gender lines. Portrayed as the ones to be rescued by male superheroes, and not vice versa. The entertainment industry finding itself in a fix, in a world dominated by feminism and plight for gender equality. Scarcity of female superhero movies or comics comes about as women are easily sexualized, myths governing the comics industry and they are only seen as team members.
Activities of people in setup are governed by different cultural belief and myths, Schneider (2018). Comics have a large audience, both the young and old. The bulk of this audience though is teenage boys, who want to have superpowers and emulate certain heroes they deem worthy. This leaves teenage girls to play with dolls and host tea parties, as it would be weird in the eyes of their parents if they had interests in comics.
