World war Ⅱ was women’s war as they got motivated by the opportunity of new experiences, patriotism, the desire to serve, and participate widely in the global conflict. Within allied countries, women proved to be invaluable in the fight for victory. Rosie the Riveter became the most enduring image of women’s involvement in world war Ⅱ. Wartime produced enlistees in auxiliary military units, workers, members of resistant organizations as mothers and wives on the home front as significant USO performers and journalists. During the early years’ aviation, pilots were always men as they were considered daring and courageous. In the raged war in Europe in the late 1930s, several Americans including sailor, soldiers, and civilians became victimized. Every citizen got caught in the patriotism wave, and they looked for ways to help. Women joined the army, and jobs in the factories that were left vacant by soldiers serving overseas. Jacqueline and Nancy Harkness had unique skills to offer the country as they had experience in piloting and they flew planes into combats and to army bases.
