Communist Manifesto
The Communist Manifesto continues to hold significance in the realm of political science. The opinions of Marx point out that the 1848 revolution was a remarkable and undisputed turning point. In his assertion, frameworks have been set out in the document that consider the societies in the European nations and thereby explaining how Bourgeoisie ascended from their peasant class to aristocracy. Max, therefore, describes these classes in a binary way with the society having the oppressed and the oppressors. In this regard, the fight was between two social classes of the Bourgeoisie and the Proletariat.
Marx states that the Bourgeoisie was the source of social production, as well as the precursors of the economic revolution (79). The emergence of their economic power led to the rise of the Bourgeoisie's political empowerment. Marx also notes that the Bourgeoisie used to work for the monarchy or the noble households before engaging in the position of controlling the European representative states in the midst of the nineteenth century (82). The Bourgeoisie empowerment in the political world contributed to the fracture of social fiction that had predetermined the societal way of life. Furthermore, they rose up with the concept of that emphasized the pursuit of profit, as well as fortifying the absolute rights towards the attainment of free trade.
The idea of creating change in the society necessitated constant change that the Bourgeoisie had to engage in for the purpose of promoting and supporting exploitation and expansion of their markets (83). In this respect, the dynamism in the social and economic spheres upset national boundaries and therefore, imposing force towards the realization of globalization. The economic imperialism, which was a result of the disturbed boundaries provoked assimilation of nations towards the economic ideology of the Bourgeoisie. In this regard, it became easy for the Bourgeoisie to develop their own world with their principal image embedded in it (84).
Marx employs the aforementioned narrative of evolution to provide substance to the principal disputation, in which the social production forces exhibit faster development and growth than the sociopolitical counterparts. The outcomes borne of this difference present a drastic change surrounding the sociopolitical order and giving it the opportunity to wrestle with the production forces. Marx’ opinion cites that this case was the shift experienced from the realm of feudalism to the capitalism of Bourgeoisie. It is imperative to mention that the process continues to exist, however, the conditions that propelled to the operation of the order of the Bourgeoisie remain destabilized by the new production forces that are being introduced. In this context, Marx brings out some options that the Bourgeoisie can use to maintain their status, for instance exploiting the former old markets, discovering the new markets, or scaling back of their production.
With respect to the concept of capitalism, the causal problem will, therefore, result in the formation of another social class of the proletariat. Marx defines the new group of persons as the workforce of the enterprises that have been instituted by the Bourgeoisie and also purposed at elevating their capital (87). In this regard, the proletarians are regarded as commodities and hence are imperiled by the market fluctuations. Based on the dynamics of market conditions and business enterprises fighting to lessen the magnitude of their expenses, the Bourgeoisie, therefore, have to make payments to the proletarians, the workforce in order to exploit their labor force. In Marx’ thoughts, the wage or payment was meant to cover the proletariat’s bare subsistence, as well as their families. Eventually, there emanated the philosophy of labor division that coerced the assimilation of the proletariat's work and the industrial machinery and thereby making the proletarians feature like devices in their works.
