The reports are about the nature of the government, its leadership, activities by those in the government, their achievements, and progress among other issues. Here we shall discuss the reports by New York Times and Politico Magazine about President Donald Trump’s activities during the first 100 days of his presidency.
Grunwald, in Politico magazine, identifies that Donald Trump conducted his presidential campaign based on many promises that he made to the Americans. He also made mockery and assaults to the Washington norms. The assaults are going on even during his 100 days of leadership. Whereas, Qiu, in the New York Times argues that the first 100 days of Trump’s presidency led to common misleading boasts and defenses concerning his early achievements. It is evident that Mr. Trump continues blaming others by stating that he is going to make “Big Decision” regarding the Paris agreement, since it was unfair. Thus, it is clear that Mr. Donald Trump looked forward to make changes based on his judgments.
According to Grunwald, Trump has not kept his promises of negotiating bilateral business deals with the European nations that were lawfully prohibited from such actions. According to the reporter, the president only keeps on stating that he has made many achievements during his initial 100 days, compared to the past presidents, but this is not the case, since he has not implemented significant changes in the federal policy. Despite the proposal of bringing in major changes in the climate change policy, business regulations, taxation, and civil rights policy, Trump actions are only talking in a tough manner about other administrative leaders in other nations.
