The aim of this business plan is to incorporate Skydiving business initiative in Sydney City, Nova Scotia, and to raise approximately $150,000 that can be used for financing the operations of the skydiving business entity. The business plan also demonstrates the operations plan and financial expectations of the company. Tourism sector has developed in the recent past, and this has been attributed to the government regulations and policies that are lenient to the foreigners. Background statement
The tourism and hospitality sector have experienced tremendous growth, and it has encouraged the inflow of tourism in the economy. The Canadian GDP is about USD 1.821 trillion as per the GDP data of 2012 (Menon, 2013). This showed a significant improvement in the manufacturing and service sectors as they directly link with the needs of the consumers across the globe. In 2012, the Canadian government reported an increased number of tourists to about 16 million, which brought about US$17.4 billion as revenues (George-Cosh, 2013). With the growth in tourism and hospitality sector in Nova Scotia, the development of skydiving for tourists will be a new business initiative that will realize success. Sydney is one of the developing economies, and tourists have found solace in visiting the region. In tandem with technological advancement, and the increased nature of operations, the development of sky diving in Nova Scotia proves to be a successful business entity in the economy (The Canadian Press 2013).
The growth in the tourism sector has increased the market base and the increase in the number of tourists in the region will increase the productivity and profitability of the new business entity. Most of the business entities consider the new trend in the region, and they aim at capitalizing on these operations. With the technological advancement imminent in the economy, it will necessitate awareness of the business initiative across the globe through utilizing the online marketing and advertisement initiatives in the economy. Sydney is the major economic center in Nova Scotia. The tourist often visits Sydney during summer before they proceed to other destinations in the region. As it enjoys good network of transport system, the population in the region has grown over the past decades, and it is estimated that the population would double in the near future (George-Cosh, 2013).
This business initiative will involve provisions of skydiving instructions to the tourists, the plane rides at affordable prices, and other services relating to skydiving to it esteem customers within the targeted market. The organization will also be involved inventory equipment of skydiving business and safety equipments that would be beneficial in the business initiative. This will be done through sourcing some of the suppliers and vendors of these equipments in an attempt to realize effectiveness in the inventory system. The services offered in the economy will be categorized into tow: first-time skydivers and expert skydivers. The first-skydivers consumers will be provided with the necessary services to guide them through the skydiving and the expert skydiver will be provided with rental apparatus that necessitate flights.

To be one of the best Skydiving organizations in Canada—both in the eyes of Community, Customers, and the whole organization’s safety. Through customer value initiatives, the management will be able to meet the needs of the individuals within the entity.
Vision Statement
The sky diving business operations focuses on technological advancement and the operations will keep the customer’s and users informed on the trends in the economy. This will necessitate minimal downtime and productivity in the dynamic environment. The organization’s professional technicians and the experienced staff will ensure that the customer service provided is high-tech and ensures that the clients are comfortable in the delivery of their services.
Core Values
Skydiving business will realize its vision and mission statements when it articulates to these key values in the economy;
Safety—working in a safe environment where there is promotion and protection of the well being of the employees and health of the workers. The business organization should consider the needs of customers and staff.

Staff—the management considers the employment and development of competent staff and quality ones within Canada.
These core values are critical in the development of the company’s operations as they will necessitate increased level of productivity, and customer satisfactions. Majority of the organizations within the sector are concerned majorly with the marketing capabilities of its staff, and they tend to ignore the need for customer satisfaction. The organization will focus its operations on the needs and demands of the customers, which will necessitate customer satisfaction in the long run. The company’s integrity is pivotal in the operations of the entity, and this increases the trustworthiness of the company’s staff and activities. The staff should always be encouraged or motivated through provision of services that are reliable. Some of the motivation techniques that should be articulated by the management include provision of wages and salaries, and giving the staff benefits they deserve.

The success of the Skydiving organization will be based on the need and efficiency of the management in disseminating its operations and services. With the organization aiming at recruiting competent staff and employees to the organization, it is clear that the company will report an increased level of operations.
