Abstract
Nations understand the impact of intelligence gathering protocols. Developed nations have the resources to instigate such trend without raising eyebrows. They can eavesdrop on decision-making processes by simply working with sympathizers in these nations. To meet their goals, they work on creating forces that can infiltrate nations without arousing any attention. They work with different groups with a single aim in mind: achieve the support and entry point they need to the nation. They gather information, transmits it back to the headquarters, offering the top management a chance to work on the information sent. The management may offer explicit or implicit orders based on the situation on the ground. Further, the advancing weapon systems are making it easier to execute duties from anywhere in the world. As such, they can meet with different challenges and overcome them based on the communication given. They have received specialized training and understand what is expected of them when certain challenges arise. Thus, the improvement in communication is the cornerstone to any warfare, be it conventional or unconventional.
This study will examine the impact of the advances in weapon systems and relate it to unconventional warfare practiced by nations across the globe. Mostly, those with the resources and manpower are ready to put them into these missions, where they gather intelligence and inform their leaders on their position. This way, they are able to work on popularizing the interests of the nation without endangering their lives or arousing attention towards their activities. Research will be carried out to gauge the importance of the advancement in weapon systems and unconventional warfare. Recommendations will be offered at the tail end of the report.

Chapter one: Introduction
1.1 statement of the problem
Every country understands the impact of warfare, especially if it is directed towards them or its citizens. The armies in these countries will always try to make the best use of the equipment they have to quell the fears and provide safety for its citizens at any particular time. As they work on meeting their goals on the ground, the policy makers are looking at the best way of meeting any discrepancies that may clog their operations. Innovation is an attribute that characterizes the weapon’s industry since the First World War. Countries have always worked on outdoing each other with their superior weaponry, hoping to scare others into submission. The US has been on the forefront of military evolution, with Russia, China, South and North Korea, Germany and Britain not being left behind. Each wants to be superior to the other, hence the need to come up with artillery that can withstand any type of combat in case of warfare (Bert, 2011).
There are calls for the use of evolving weapon systems for unconventional warfare. Over the past few years, especially after the cold war, weapon systems have evolved to match the current technological advancements. The fight against insurgents has also taken another shape after the US began its operations in Afghanistan and Iraq. Countries are becoming more aware of their neighbors in relation to their domestic security. Countries with the military knowhow and those with greater advancements in their weaponry are placing greater distress on the way they treat those who depend on them for weapon supplies. Nonetheless, the question that begs to be answered is whether the use of evolving weapon systems in unconventional warfare is imperative or just a tactic to render military proficiency of their enemies as irrelevant (Warren, 2008). Technological advancement has changed over the years, and the evolution has brought with it new superpowers that are more than willing to exercise their weapons when agitated.
There is a need to examine the impact that these unconventional warfare have in relation to the evolving weapons systems and the current status of the world in terms of peace and strategic manipulation. This study will examine the impacts and offer recommendations based on the identified needs and impacts of the weapons based on the area. Unconventional welfare seeks to use multi-national links to fight off insurgents or opposing forces within the government. This means that the use of weapon systems makes it difficult to achieve peace under equal terms. All thee attributes will be discussed herein.
1.2 Theoretical background
When countries want to protect their interests in other countries, it is difficult for them to indulge in warfare directly. As such, they place some special forces and operation taskforces that will aid in creating room for protection to citizens in these countries. A case in point is the US that had to use its special forces for training in African countries such as Tanzania and Kenya, or for humanitarian aspects where UN missions are involved. They may use them for combat search and rescue like they do in Iraq and other war-torn countries or for warfare and support like they did when they offered support to Libyan revolutionists (Bert, 2011). As long as the interests are catered for, countries are comfortable using their means as a way of identifying with the troops in the other countries and with their allies. As such, the evolution of warfare weaponry has made it possible to utilize different covert means of protecting the interests of a particular country despite the distance and the destination. For instance, the killing of Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan was done without the full consent of the Pakistan authorities, threatening diplomatic breakdown (Herd, 2013). Thus, the roles and missions of the unconventional warfare and the teams in place have evolved over the years, and so have the weapon systems in lace. Countries are working on drones, new types of guns and artillery that can easily go undetected, as well as intelligence apparatus that rival the rest (Pendleton, 2011).
As such, it is detrimental that one understands the impact that these evolutionary tactics have and the impact they have on strategies as well as types of weapons allowed for utilization in warfare. As such, it is critical that the world understands the impact of each weapon in use and how it affects them in their everyday interactions. Lethal and non-lethal weapons have been documented in terms of target, user specification and the function they serve (Pendleton, 2011). As such, understanding these attributes is imperative for the proper resolution of some of the conflicts that may involve any of these classifications. More so, this will be detrimental when dealing with the impact of the warfare items on the modern day events between countries and their armies.
