Apple and Meta each had a $5000 investment. The total dollar amount of return from 28th February to 25th March was thus $10000. The total returns amounted to $500, with a percentage return of 5%. The holding duration for the two companies was 25 days, with an annualized return of 10%.
Biomedical
Novax and Vertex pharmaceuticals had a total investment worth $10000, $5000 each. The total dollar amount of return from 28th February to 25th March was also $10000. The combined returns amounted to $250 with a holding period return rate of 3.4%. The holding duration was 25 days, yielding an annualized return rate of 6.8%.
Transportation
Norfolk Southern and CSX Corporation had a $5000 investment each, with returns amounting to $320. The holding period return rate was 3.2% after a 25 days holding period. The annualized return rate for the two investments amounted to 6.4%.
Entertainment
Netflix and Disney (DIS) each had a $5000 investment. The total dollar amount of return from 28th February to 25th March was thus $10000, which yielded a $680 return. After a holding period of 25 days, the holding period rate of return was 6.8%, translating to an annualized return of 10.5%.
Consumer Goods
Proctor and Gamble (PG) had a $5000 investment, which was also shared by Costco (COST). The total dollar amount of return from 28th February to 25th March was thus $10000, yielding a $320 return. The holding period was 25 days, with a period return of 3.8%. The annualized rate of return was 7.6%.
Apparel
Nike and Lululemon had a $5000 investment with a $390 return. After a holding period of 6 months with a holding period return rate of 3.9%, the annualized return rate was 7.8%.
