Basics of Decision-Making
Human beings are faced with diverse environments around them that require making choices from the available options. People react differently to the circumstances that encounter each, with some making better decisions than others. How every individual makes decisions is determined by several factors, which range from one's background to their experience. The various underlying factors that guide the decision-making manner include inciters, inhibitors, and high principles. The paper seeks to explore these essential factors that are involved in every decision-making process.
Contrary to public opinion, the decision-making process is not in any way scientific as all members of the society can participate. According to Djik (2008), scientific methods can only be ventured in by scholars and professionals. Somewhat, the process of decision making is mainly affected by three factors, which include high principles, inhibitors, and inciters. However, only top laws fall under positive decision making as the other two, inciters and inhibitors, make up the negative decision-making process (Ullman, 2006,). Decisive decision making comes up with resolutions that impact positively to an individual while contrary decision making impacts negatively on the individual and people around him or her.
