Experiences in High School that I'll Never Forget (Term Paper Sample)

Being in high school can bring various experiences to the students which can change their lives. There are moments of good experiences and there are moments of bad experiences. Sometimes students are faced with situations that are exciting and sometimes they are faced with situations which are embarrassing that they cannot forget in the rest of their lives. These experiences sometimes change or form their beliefs which form part of their lives. For me, high school experience that I cannot forget happened while I was a student at the British School of Kuwait in the year 2014. I remember it was on a Monday in the morning hours and it was on the first week of the month of February. Being a new student in this school, I had to present my experience of being in high school for the first time and the presentation was to be done in the English language. I was nervous since I was a new student who had not been acquainted well to my fellow students and in addition, I was an English language foundation learner. This experience of presenting for the first time in high school formed my belief that I am capable of accomplishing anything and I should not be afraid of trying new experiences since I could manage to make a presentation successfully for the first time and got awarded as the best presenter.
High school experience that I cannot forget formed a belief that I am capable of accomplishing anything in life and that I should not be afraid of trying new things since for the first time in my life I managed to stand in front of many people giving them a presentation in a language which I was not familiar with well. By then, I could not try anything that I was not sure of. Furthermore, I could not believe that I matched the confidence of other students in my class since some of my fellow students would confidently and fluently express themselves in English. Such a situation created doubts in me whether I would make a captivating presentation. I was reluctant to do any presentation but I managed to do it and that became the best experience in my high school life. Now I can try new things confidently. For example, on 12th January 2019, I started training as a footballer since I am not afraid of trying new things.
