In business, there are different motives for venturing in any opportunity that arises. The biggest category of people will aim at making profits for the sole purpose of operations well this goes to some extent. However, people tend to disregard the point that there are ethics to adhere to in business. In the workplace, those prone to think about business profits will do anything in their control to ensure that they achieve the benefits. These will include committing frauds, bribery and many will manipulate records to attract investors in showing a well profitable company when it is downsizing. Nevertheless, there are those who will act in an ethical manner, who will follow the set rules and guidelines, the company and any policy set forth. The effect from these is that the profit motivated person is acting in an unethical and unlawful manner which can lead to the closure of business.
In an instance when I was trying to prepare the financial statements I noticed a different figure in the accounts. In my opinion, the value could not have made a reasonable adjustment in the accounts; therefore, I omitted it and turned a blind eye on it. However, later in auditing the amount as discovered and after adjustment it showed the profits had reduced to a slight figure. In this case, I would have adjusted the amount, and the account would not have looked like they have been changed to conceal errors.
Since most of the revenues gained from the newspapers and media come from the advertisers, they have a controlling interest in the information relayed to the public. The media will offer the advertisers a buying mood where they will offer to advertise positively and avoid criticism of their products. The politicians and advertisers will have their information framed in an appealing manner to the public so as to channel people's decision making. They will persuade the people through the use of exaggerated or false information through the media.

In the projected workplace, framing may affect decision making. At the place of work, information may be expected to reflect sales when in reality it should show losses.
