The internet is an integral part of contemporary living; such is the extent of its reach and vitality that some look at it as a basic necessity. Currently, everybody relies on the internet for connectivity to either information or people in some way. People with disabilities, such as the visually impaired, similarly use the internet for an array of things. Internet service providers should ascertain easy access to internet facilitates for individuals with incapacities for them to witness, access, circumnavigate, intermingle, and contribute through the internet. When designing a website, the significant prerequisite is a layout that individuals with optical impairment can easily access, reach, and navigate. Failing to inculcate the needs of such people amounts to bias and prejudice against this group of people. Besides them missing out on information hosted on such websites, the websites themselves lose prospective clients, subscribers, and a chance to communicate and engage with them for helpful feedback. It is these companies and websites that should accommodate visually impaired consumers and not the other way around. Consequently, websites utilize impeccably designed layouts that accommodate the wants of every single user, more so visually impaired persons.
