Introduction
In theology of mission, it is important that we ditch into the different accounts from the Bible, and how this is attributed to theology, for us to have a good basis of global mission, and what it entails .This is a very important entity in this study, as it calls for a critical inquiry into the Bible and a theological approach. After such a critical analysis, we get to have a good scope on all the aspects of religion that fall therein, and the importance that they have for everyone .Biblical theology of mission has the basis of some biblical texts, both in the new and in the Old Testament. This is as described below.
Old Testament
In that regard, there are texts in the Old Testament that clearly state out the basis with which the global mission is placed. This is very important to us, as it majors our study on a Christian point of view on the global mission. Looking at the Old Testament, this is clearly seen in the book of Genesis. There are some aspects in the book of genesis that speak out the global mission, offering a limelight to its approach. Abram was a person who was seen to set a basis for any missionary work, and any ways that could enhance the aspect of mission. This is because God tells him to leave his people, land and property, and go to wherever He is to tell him.
