Code Development Group, operating under MindRule Consulting Service is experiencing leadership problems among its group members. The team experiences poor communication and relation skills among the top officials and its work force. The team consultant does not perform his duties to perfection; instead he abandons most of his tasks to be carried out by the team members. The consultant is responsible for coordinating all team members and monitoring their performance in various firm projects. Also, the consultant should provide solutions to the clients’ complaints, but instead he leaves that task to the group’s IT analyst. The poor communication and relation skills have resulted due to consultant’s ignorance of his duties. These factors have contributed a lot to poor performance of Code Development Group. There is no direct communication between the team members and the team consultant. Also, the team consultant does not dedicate most of his time to listen to the team members’ issues and complaints. There are poor relations between the group work force and its leaders. The team members are not given freedom to express their opinions and make suggestions about the progress of the projects. The operations of the team are deteriorating with time due to poor relations among the work force and the team management. The team consultant does not perform all duties allocated to him effectively. The consultant expected the IT analyst to perform his task whereas he had insufficient skills and powers to solve clients’ complaints.
