The population is also affected by that they are too distributed in the country and therefore becomes hard for them to have on voice. This paper looks at the efforts that have been made in order for the Aboriginal to have more political power in the decision making of the people in the country. This paper will look at the proposed Canadian law that would liberate Aboriginal people.

However, due to the proposed Canadian law, the community has been able to have more representation in the decision making especially in the political scene of the country. Some of the parts that are to be addressed in the proposed law will include general hunting and fishing rights of this community, land rights, general application rights and customary practices law.
