Introduction
This study involves issuing instructions that a reader can easily follow to perform a particular task. The key reader of this instruction is going to be a mechanic student. However, it will have a second classmate as a second reader. The reader is aware of the principles of fluid mechanic and hydraulic pressure, but does not know that by following logical instructions, he can easily drain oil from a closed tank. The reader in this exercise is definitely going to be successful because he is excellent in Analytical skills in hydraulic engineering (Lindsell-Roberts 36). Because he is not a good English speaker, the instructions have to be simple, not complicated. The reader is likely to make practical application of this exercise in hydraulic Engines such as cranes and hydraulic jacks.
Description of the Equipment
The instruction is straight forward and in simple language, to enable the reader to understand and avoid unnecessary contradiction. In fact, because of the simplicity, the reader can follow the instructions without seeking any assistance or clarification (Gerson 47). The part whose location the reader is able to show clearly is the labels of the dimensions of the oil container. The reader can use the instructions to show the functions of the equipments very effectively. The most vital explanation that he can give is the use of a uniform pipe to drain oil tank using the principles of hydraulic pressure.
Materials and Equipment
The reader will have to prepare a comprehensive list of materials and equipment in order to be able to begin the task. Here is the list of equipment and materials that the reader will require:
Pipe
Drill
Bucket
Directions
Task 1: Draining the oil
Step 1: Place the bucket below the tap of the oil tank
Step 2: Drill a hole on the upper part of the tank.
Step 3: Open the tap of the tank.
Task 2: Adding new oil
Step 1: Remove all the oil in the first tank
Step 2: Close the tap of the tank.
Step 3: Lift the oil container to the top of the empty tank then pour in the new oil.
Problem:
The reader is likely to get a problem with the nature of oil he is handling. This is especially true where the reader is using highly inflammable and evaporating oil. The reader can only be advised to be vigilant with petroleum. He has to know the characteristics of different oils because some oils like petroleum. This study does not Graphics...
