The research paper by Pasque, Chesler, Charbeneau, and Carlson (2013) provides an overview of the pedagogical approaches utilized by faculty members in addressing conflicts brought about by racial differences. According to the authors, diversity within the context of the classroom is often sought by faculty members but it is necessary that any issues that might arise be addressed accordingly to avoid conflict. Students from minority ethnic communities are often victimized whenever racial conflict arises. Pasque et al. (2013), in their research, have been able to point out the approaches utilized by faculty members who belong to different ethnic groups deal with the presented problem. In the context of organizational change, it is imperative to note that pedagogical approaches might be effective in addressing problems faced by minorities within a diverse education setting. The bottom line however, according to Pasque et al. (2013) is that faculty members are always reluctant to adopt changes within the classroom setting to address issues brought about by diversity.
