One hundred years ago movie stars such as Charlie Chaplin were worshiped like gods. Their achievements seemed unachievable because these stars looked like us, but they did not have any imperfections. For this reason, everyone was jealous of their accomplishments and wanted to be like them. These stars were above average because people paid to see them and their productions. However, this is no longer the case in the internet age because even children and ordinary people have turned into stars overnight (Burr 36).
