Introduction:
These roll ups are almost as ridiculously simple to make as they are delicious. Whether you are looking for something to do with the leftover turkey stuffing or a recipe for easy to make dinner that doesn't take too much time or ingredients you should definitely try these turkey and stuffing roll ups. They are great in holiday season when you always seem to be left with some stuffing but also make a tasty and quick meal all year round. It is easily prepared dinner that your whole family will surely enjoy.
Preparation and cooking time:
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 25 minutes
Total time: 45 minutes
Ingredients:
* 12 slices (16 ounces) of deli turkey breasts
* 1 package of stuffing mix (6 ounces)
* ¾ cup of milk
* 1 can of cream of chicken soup, undiluted
* 1 ½ cups of water
* ¼ cups of margarine
* 1 small can of french-fried onions
Instructions:
1.Preheat oven on 350°F
2.Have a 13inx9in baking dish previously greased up.
3.In a saucepan heat water and margarine until they begin to boil. While stirring, add the stuffing mix. When you have mixed the stuffing in remove it from the heat and leave it for about 5 minutes. Mix the stuffing with the fork until it's loose.
4.After that prepare the gravy. In a small bowl mix together cream of chicken soup and milk and set it aside for now.
5.Apply 3-4 tablespoons of filling along the middle of each slice.
6.Roll up the slice and place it in the baking dish with the seam side down so they wouldn't unroll while baking. Align all the roll ups as close together as possible. This helps to avoid having slices or the stuffing turn dry during baking.
7.When you have the entire roll ups placed in the dish evenly pour soup mixture over them and place the dish in the oven.
