Who is a psychopath?
The word psychopath was originally introduced in the mid and late 1800s in Greek. It is a combination of two words psykhe and pathos which both mean ‘sick mind' or ‘disturbed soul'. Psychopathy, is the state in which someone depicts psychological tendencies or behaviors which was considered to be a sort of morally askew or insane back then. Over the years, research has been done and knowledge has brought us into a clear understanding of how to tell that a person is a psychopath.
This does not mean, however, that we have gone far from the classical definition of a psychology. Presently, we define a psychopath as a personality disorder characterized by antisocial behavior, impaired empathy and remorse. Also, a psychopath is defined as being bold, disinhibited and full of egotistical traits.
