To start with the author of the book collection "Me Talk Pretty One Day" David Sedaris uncovers a most unconventional life story. During his childhood he attends speech-therapy classes, unwanted guitar classes, and eventually he become "unqualified teacher" in Chicago. He faces language challenges and he undergoes language instruction that causes more cultural confusion.
One of the advantages in Me Talk Pretty One Day is the encouragements that come along with the manner in which Sedaris triumphs the obstacles on his way. A good example is in the essay "Go Carolina," where he narrates his first encounter with school speech therapist. The therapist attempts to cure his lisp in order to get rid of speech impediments.
Also, from his essay collection we can find the advantage of making proper decisions in our lives.
