In her article “Providing patients with information on caring for skin,â€Penzer acknowledges the fact that most individuals suffer skin diseases, be it acne, wound or sunburn (Penzer 1). The article elaborates various skin conditions that most individual are likely to encounter, mainly the chronic skin conditions.
Penzer (1) aims at educating and advising patients on how to handle chronic disease conditions as most people lack adequate training. Penzer further explains why most healthcare professionals find it challenging to treat chronic skin diseases for instance acne, eczema, and psoriasis.
